Our 2nd meeting took place on 15 July in Jackson’s Lane Arts Centre, as the pub was busy that night (with some sort of sports activity 😃). 

We joined Leila to make up memory jars, bottles of little treasures, or whatever fancy inspired us.  Members brought along bits and bobs, to use and share, and Leila brought a generous supply of pretty things to help us along.  There were small dinosaurs, dried flowers and seed pods, beads, pebbles, photos, and sea glass, to name just a few. 

Bottles and jars were provided, and people had fun putting things together to create little masterpieces. We had such a good time, and non-attendees were so sad to miss it, that we may well repeat the workshop in the not too distant future. 

In August we don’t have a meeting but do have a social event on the first Sunday afternoon of the month – this year we will picnic in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. The next next meeting proper is on 16 Sept, and is a guided walk with the wonderful Maria from Herstorical Tours – this year we will explore London’s witchy history on her Hex in the City walk.
